Erkin Karamemet is a graphic & type designer working and living between Berlin and Cologne. He develops visual solutions and typographic tools for media in various formats. After studying visual communication with a focus on typography, he specialized in type design, which led from an internship to a long-term collaboration with Dinamo as a type designer.

Over the course of more than a decade, he has been involved in numerous typeface projects, including Favorit, Pareto, Prophet, Social, Diatype, Whyte, and Whyte Inktrap. Alongside this wide range of contributions, his debut release ABC Repro is also part of the Dinamo library.

The office of Erkin Karamemet is dedicated to type design and graphic formgiving. Under his own label, Typefaces Designed by Erkin Karamemet, he specializes in typographic solutions and offers retail, custom, and bespoke typefaces, wordmark and logo design, as well as typographic consultancy to clients worldwide.
