Typefaces Designed by Erkin Karamemet follows the licensing model introduced by Dinamo in 2020.

The licensing based on the view that the value of a typeface is dependent on the size and reach of the company that uses it. Based on this understanding, our pricing is based solely on the company size of the licence owner (measured by the number of employees). 

The license owner (licensee) is the person/organization that holds the usage rights over the font. According to our approach, this is always the end customer who commissions the design work and uses the font for his company, not the commissioned design agency or freelance designer.

The designers or the design agency get the possibility to try all available typefaces free of charge, on request also in the complete character set. The scope of our trial license also includes the presentation of a project to the end customer (potential licence owner).

Depending on the file you are working with, we distinguish between three main file formats: OTF for desktop, or WOFF/WOFF2 for web and TTF for app. The license types we quote are sufficient for most jobs. Please make sure you purchase all the extensions you need. Please use for all types of licenses always the same metric of your company size. DESKTOP  LICENSE 
Allows you to use the typeface on all computers in your organization while designing for print and/or screen. The desktop license also includes the following limited licenses:

+LOGO LICENSE
Companies with up to 10 employees receive a free logo license with each desktop license.

+VIDEO LICENSE
Companies that employ up to 3 people receive a free video license with each desktop license.

+SOCIAL MEDIA LICENSE

Companies that employ up to 3 people receive a Social Media License on all social networks.

WEB LICENSE
Allows embedding the typeface into a websit.

APP / GAME LICENSE
Allows the typeface to be embedded in a digital product or mobile app, e-pub or in online and offline video games

LOGO LICENSE
Allows you to use the Typefaces in a Logo/Wordmark.

VIDEO LICENSE
Allows you to use the Typefaces in a animated or moving images like movies, television, or video content for social media.

SOCIAL MEDIA LICENSE
Allows you to create design assets for social media channels like TikTok, Instagram, etc.

SUBCONTRACTOR LICENSE
Allows you to share the typeface with collaborators, subcontractors and other third parties involved in your project.

We offer customized adjustments of our font catalog. Below are some examples of common customizations. Please contact us by Email for detailed information.

CUSTOM NAMING
Personalization of the font name (EK will be replaced with your desired name), the following font name like Roumald or Modena remains unchanged.This adjustment will be made automatically for any kind of changes.

CUSTOM GLYPHS
Such as inserting your logo, which can be accessed through a keyboard shortcut.

GLYPH SWOP
Replacement of alternative glyphs for the default setting

To make your choice easier, we offer several styles at a discounted price in the form of package deals. We offer a Family discount for our typefaces or a discount for common combination styles, such as Regular+Italic or Regular+Bold. Discounts may vary depending on the size of the font family.

We also give discounts to students and non-commercial projects. Feel free to send us a mail.

All sales are final. Fonts created by Erkin Karamemet are non-returnable and non-refundable. Sorry, but we can neither refund money nor swap incorrect font licence purchases. If a font is defective, notify us within 30 days of purchase and we will provide a suitable replacement.

Because our work can have a global public impact, we care about the context in which the typefaces are used. Using our typefaces in a way that spreads hate, violence, racism, or any other form of discrimination is strictly prohibited. Any design work created specifically for political purposes must be approved by written consent from Erkin Karamemet prior to publication.
