Baumer Specimen + Grotesk T-shirt

This edition is dedicated to the Baumer type families. Through a specially designed specimen, the fictional company Baumer Group and its sub-brand Grotesk document the typefaces in a way that evokes the feel of a brand manual while also highlighting their technical aspects through usage examples. As part of the company’s corporate clothing, the Grotesk Shirt translates this fictional graphic world into a physical product. Combined with AI-generated imagery, the project creates the impression of a fully developed and tangible corporate environment.

The Grotesk Shirt is handmade by The Factory in Kosovo, Europe, from 100% premium 220 gsm GOTS-certified cotton, offering a substantial weight and refined quality. It features silkscreen prints on the front and back and is available in sizes S, M, L and XL. Limited edition of 100 pieces.

The Specimen is offset printed with spot colours on various papers in A4 format and saddle-stitched. Across 36 Pages, the specimen presents the Baumer Headline, Uniwidth and Mono type families. It comes bundled with every shirt as a signed and numbered copy.
