Font News Specimen

For the very first time, the newspaper “Font News”, published together with the supplement “Font Menu”, presents the typographic work of Erkin Karamemet from his own label “Typefaces Design by Erkin Karamemet” in printed form. 

The large newspaper format invites viewers to experience the typefaces in big, poster-like sizes. The curated texts reference pop-cultural curiosities and are further enriched by overlaid double-page spreads with amusing illustrations. 

Font news was created in collaboration. Copywriting, Curation, Editing was made by the Berlin based Creative Director Gerrit Kotsiwos and Illustrations was made by the London based Artist Colin Dörffler a.k.a. Why Ebay. Designed by Erkin Karamemet. Format: 500 × 700 mm, folded and wrapped, in 36 pages, edition of 300 copies.
